Will mankind ever abolish disease?

Hosea 4:2-3 You make vows and break them; you kill and steal and commit adultery. There is violence everywhere, one murder after another. That is why your land is in mourning, and everyone is wasting away. Even the wild animals, the birds of the sky, and the fish of the sea are disappearing.

It's because of us. It's our fault.

The world today is proclaiming how we, of our own magnificent intelligence and awesome greatness, will vanquish disease, restore the earth to its once resplendent beauty, move to other star systems and explore the universe, etc, etc, etc.

Even Christians support and applaud these efforts and the successes of the world as mankind progresses with technology and medical advances.

What the world does not acknowledge, is that God has caused these things because of their sin, their pride, their arrogance and their dismissal of Him.

Instead of worshiping themselves, God wants everyone to worship Him, their creator, the amazing genius who brought all life into being of His own accord.

1 Cor 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God...

Prov 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy is understanding.

Mankind's belief in evolution gives him the justification to declare his own glory and heap the expectations of great wonders he can fulfill in his own determination, power, and excellence.

Imagine how God feels, for all these years, as He watches man declare his own greatness...

If God texted, He'd be texting SMH...

We will never vanquish disease. We will never restore the earth. We will never reverse what we began. We don't have the ability to.

In fact, if Jesus didn't return when He does, we would probably kill ourselves and the entire planet off.

Mark 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved : but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

Mankind is not great. God is great. We are but created things, created by Him.
