In regards to what are now obviously incorrect prophecies that professed so many stated fulfillments, from the rapture to armageddon, in September 2015.

I hope this failure of "prophecy" for all those who put a date on what they professed to be "Biblical Prophecy" (blood moons and other September prophecies) has taught them a lesson.

It is so important that we fully understand scripture before we speak about scripture. We can and do know what events will transpire, and we even have timelines the Lord gave us, but if we understand scripture, we know that certain events have to happen before others, and we can't put any timelines on anything until we see the first events.

Study to show yourself approved, as the Lord told us.  We need to be in the Bible every day of our lives, and read it cover to cover, studying and learning and never stopping.

Here's a great analogy explaining why it's so important to read the entire Bible, and read it enough times to grasp what the Lord has told us.

It's like a puzzle or a dot to dot picture. If you only complete half of the puzzle...if you only connect half of the dots...then try to pass off your incomplete picture as the finished product and final authority to what each puzzle piece and dot pointed to...you will never come to the knowledge, understanding or comprehension of what the entire picture was trying to paint and hereby convey. Your "complete" knowledge will be incomplete if you are satisfied with such an imperfect, spiritually-deficient, and fragmented form of knowledge. Each piece of the Bible is another brush stroke toward the big picture it is trying to paint. As with a painting, the Bible is a picture that wishes to convey a message. But the only way its message can be fully understood, seen and comprehended is by seeing the finished product.  Only reading part of the Bible and claiming to understand it is like putting part of a puzzle together, with a big hole in the middle, and claiming to know what's in the missing section even though you've never seen the completed picture.

This is the reason there so many false teachers, preachers, self proclaimed prophets, etc.  Some of them don't do it on purpose, they simply don't understand the Bible well enough to accurately teach it to someone else.

It only serves to make the unbeliever and doubters think we have no idea, putting a derogatory image of Christianity in their minds, and when the events DO take place, they'll scoff because they've heard it before. Doing things outside of scripture and of ourselves instead of God only serves the devil.  It just gives him more ammunition to turn people away from the Truth.

I pray that every one of you, if you don't already, will start reading your Bible every day, and study the word of God like there's no tomorrow.  The last tomorrow is getting very close, and we don't want to be in the dark with the rest of the world when the events God told us about are coming to pass.  And, we need to be able to recognize the false prophets and false teachers for what they are.

2 Tim 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!
